No. 45 on Golf Digest's ranking of America's 100 Greatest Courses and No. 9 on Golfweek's ranking of the Best Modern Courses, Pete Dye Golf Club ingeniously weaves mining remnants and rambunctious terrain into a course that tempts and tests you from the opening tee shot to your final putt. Spread out over 250 acres amidst the Appalachian Mountains, the fairways bob and weave through wildly rugged terrain and Dye’s graceful earth sculptures. From 2004-2009, Pete Dye GC course played host to an annual PGA TOUR/web.com event. During his storybook 2005 season, Jason Gore won the web.com (formerly Nationwide) event for his third win on the circuit to earn a battlefield promotion to the PGA TOUR.
