About Blacksburg Country Club:

Blacksburg Country Club features an 18-hole golf course, designed by former president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, Ferdinand Garbin. The Club is known for its peaceful atmosphere and scenic view of the mountains.

BCC has the luxury of two equal and challenging nine holes with a course rating of 71.5 and a slope of 130 from the championship tees. It is a member-friendly golf course with forgiving fairways and greens. There are four different sets of tees to match any skill level. The North Fork of the Roanoke River meanders through the course, coming into play on several holes. The course also features more than 60 sand bunkers and several water holes to challenge you.

Looking for a golf game? Our staff can pair you with other members or help you enter our weekly golf events. Plus, our Class-A PGA Golf Professional is available to play a round of golf with members. Private lessons or group clinics are tailored to meet our member’s needs and help you lower your handicap or get more out of your golf game.

Blacksburg Country Club arguably has the strongest Junior Golf programs in southwest Virginia. Our juniors participate in the highly competitive Roanoke Valley Junior Golf Tour and play at country clubs throughout the region.

Our membership is extremely active, providing you many opportunities to become involved at the club. Our Men's Golf Association has more than 180 members with weekly play every Wednesday night. The Club also has a very active Women’s Golf Association, with both beginner and advanced play. Our Senior Men's Golf Association plays more than 15 home and away matches each summer and our Couples Golf plays golf every Friday night during the summer and then enjoys dinner on the deck as the sun sets.
