In creating this magnificent course, with eight holes bordering Lake Keowee and five offering views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Tom Fazio and The Cliffs took full advantage of one of the most beautiful pieces of land found anywhere in the world.

Elevated trees and spectacular views are the norm here. Navigate tree-lined fairways, ravines and coves – trying all the while not to get distracted by the views. Take hole 17, for example. Fazio calls it “the most picturesque hole in the state of South Carolina.”

With five sets of tee boxes, golfers can easily select a yardage appropriate for their game on this par-71 course.

At Keowee Vineyards, The Cliffs showcased its dedication to land sustainability by saving the most scenic sections of the community for the golf course, instead of homesites.
