About Florence Country Club:

The Golf Course at Florence Country Club is a very traditional old style layout that features fairways framed with beautiful oaks and pines combined with a distinct amount of elevation change. With this being said, thanks to the support of the membership, the golf course has "kept up with the times" with improvements. Over the past four years a new double row irrigation system has been installed, the greens have been converted to one of the new hybrid bermudas, bunkers were rebuilt and redesigned, teeing areas leveled and enlarged and some trees removed to enhance the growth of the greens.

To reaffirm the respect that this course has throughout the southeast, there's no need to look further than the events hosted. Just to mention a few; nine time sight for PGA Tour Qualifying site tournament, USGA National Junior Boys Championship, five US Open Qualifiers, five Palmetto Cups, Three Carolinas PGA Championships, two South Carolina Opens and also in 2006 named Club of the Year by the South Carolina Golf Association. Some of Florence Country Club's exclusive annual tournaments are the Mens Member-Guest, Ladies Invitational, and the Grant Bennett Jr. Boys Event.
