The 18-hole "Tam O'Shanter" course at the Tam O'Shanter Golf Course facility in Hermitage, Pennsylvania features 6,537 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71 . The course rating is 69.4 and it has a slope rating of 121. Designed by Emil Loeffler, the Tam O'Shanter golf course opened in 1931. John Kerins manages the course as the General Manager. Tam O'Shanter is known for its lush green waterered fairways and fast bent grass greens bordered by large native hardwoods and pines. The beauty abounds as you see the panoramic views overlooking the rolling wooded hills of Shenango Valley. Considered one of Pennsylvania's finest public courses, it's a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Signature hole is number 14 known as "Death Valley" because of many good scores that have died in its depths. See you at the tee!
