About Kanata Golf and CC:

A classic parkland course located in the heart of Kanata just minutes from Highway 417 and the nation’s capital, Kanata Golf and Country Club offers a peaceful escape for urban golfers.
Opened originally in 1965, the course was completely redesigned by renowned architect Tom McBroom in 1990. The strategically placed mature trees, rolling mounds and large bunkers set the tone for the course, while its small- to medium-sized tricky greens place a premium on shot selection and ball control.
Known as one of the best maintained courses in the Ottawa area, Kanata Golf and Country Club played host to the 2001 Nations' Cup featuring teams of the best female pros from Canada, the U.S., and Sweden. In fact, it was on the short but difficult par-3 16th hole, considered one of the most challenging in the region, that proved critical during Lorie Kane’s match against Annika Sorenstam.
Practice facilities include a chipping green, putting green and iron range located beside the first tee.
The clubhouse overlooks the ninth and 18th holes and features a banquet room for intimate meetings and a larger hall for special events, including a private balcony
