About London Country Club:

Established in 1920, by Mr. George Sargent & Friends, the 120 acre 9 hole course is surrounded by mature trees and divided by the winding Deer Creek. The clubhouse and course were built on the rolling terrain of the Luke Doolittle Smith Farm. Mr. Smith's father, H.W. Smith was a United States Senator. The property was leased to the Board of Directors of London Country Club until the late 1920's when it was purchased by the membership. The Course Professionally manicured and supported by a centralized fairways and greens irrigation system(updated 2011). There are 18 tee boxes with designation for men's and women's and senior tees. Bunkers & rough provide a challenge for all levels of golfers. There are opportunities to play open golf, join leagues and participate in regular club events.
