The Engineers golf course dates to 1917 and has a vast history of golf competition. It remains today a favorite pick for regional championships and qualifiers. Besides being a favorite venue for the Long Island Club Champion's Championship, Engineers played host to a U. S. Open Qualifier as recently as 1999, further attesting to its timeless stature as a true test of the game.
