About Colonial Springs Golf Club:

Since opening in 1995, Colonial Springs has been one of Long Island’s most popular golf courses. With its challenging twenty-seven hole layout, originally designed by Arthur Hills, and its convenient location just east of the Nassau/Suffolk border, Colonial Springs is easy to get to and fun to play.

With beauty and ambiance, Colonial Springs is Long Island's most alluring course and with one look at our grounds, it's easy to understand why. Colonial Springs's spaciousness, sandy terrain, and extensive oak and pine covering make it an ideal location for a top-quality golf course. Additionally, its natural beauty and sprawling hills provided the perfect inspiration for 27 holes of world-championship caliber golf.

In 2004, Colonial Springs announced its plan to convert to a private, members-only club and hired world renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. to take the course to the next level. Over three seasons, Mr. Jones’s work was carved into Colonial’s sandy soil. The final stage, the renovation of the Pines nine, was completed in 2007.
