The 18-hole "Deer Brook" course at the Deer Brook Golf Club facility in Shelby, North Carolina features 6,950 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 73.4 and it has a slope rating of 133 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Richard G. Robbins, ASGCA/Brian Lussier, the Deer Brook golf course opened in 1999. Rob Lane manages the course as the General Manager/Golf Professional.
