About Raleigh Country Club:

Established in 1948, Raleigh Country Club boasts the last course for Tradition and Future designed by legendary Donald Ross.
The course has remained true to the original standards, as described by the Donald Ross Society, of making each hole present a different problem, making every stroke count, and taking full advantage of terrain while wasting no ground. The course opened for play in July of 1949, with Hall of Fame member Sam Snead playing an exhibition tournament. Ellis Maples became the club’s first Director of Golf and Arnold Palmer played numerous rounds as a collegian during his early years. Raleigh Country Club has been host to numerous professional and major national amateur events.
