About Country Club of North Carolina:

CCNC is best known for its outstanding golf courses. The Dogwood course opened in 1963 and has been the venue for many championship events including three Carolinas Amateurs, six Southern Amateurs and the 1980 USGA Amateur. Nine holes of the Cardinal course opened in 1970, with the second nine completed in 1981. Both courses are ranked in the top 15 in North Carolina.

The club has a full golf schedule with a variety of events for ladies, men and juniors, and the professional staff offers a wide range of instructional options including private lessons and group clinics. The practice facility underwent a complete renovation in 2006, and provides an outstanding environment for golfers to work on all aspects of their games.

CCNC was the proud host site for 2010 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship contested July 19-24 on the Dogwood Course.
