About Colonial Country Club-Deerfield Course:

This par 72, 6900 yard, championship course was carved from a natural woodland area in 1979 and
has hosted PGA Tour Qualifying Tournaments, Senior PGA Qualifying Tournaments, 7 State Opens,
3 State Amateurs, US open Qualifiers and US Senior Open Qualifiers. The modern layout with
Bermuda fairways, menacing bunkers and strategic water holes only enhance the championship qualities.
The real challenge comes on the Deerfield greens that were replaced in 2000 with
Mini Verdi, the #1 rated super dwarf Bermuda in the country. With the larger, undulated greens,
putting becomes a test for even the best! Nestled in one of the best neighborhoods in
Madison county, Deerfield is surrounded by familiar faces!
