Springfield Oaks received Special Designation as "One of the Best Places to Play" by Golf Digest 2007 -- value for the money, standard of service, condition of the course and pace of play.
Springfield Oaks is certified by the Michigan Turfgrass Environmental Stewardship Program. MTESP certification requires the park to exceed requirements of environmental laws, protect water resources and enhance the maintenance of turfgrass and open spaces.
