About Victoria National Golf Club:

Consistently ranked among the top golf courses in America, Victoria National delivers incredible golf with the character, charm, and hospitality of Southern Indiana. Victoria National earned its title as America's private retreat from a history as unique as the land it's built on.

Built atop Peabody Coal Company's long-abandoned Victoria Strip Mine in Southern Indiana, Victoria National was a simple routing for Tom Fazio. “I see 100 great golf holes," said Fazio. "The challenge will be to pick 18." He followed the corridors (the perfect width for fairways) that existed between mining spoil mounds (long since overgrown with trees) and some 40 acres of finger lagoons that had formed as steam shovels carved out coal deposits that hit the water table. The result encompasses 418 acres of bentgrass tees, fairways, and greens. The course at Victoria National was Fazio's sixth private course, and his 10th "Best New" win from Golf Digest, the most any architect has won in a single category. Since its founding in 1998, Victoria National has become a haven for a select group of discerning golf purists. Victoria National is rich in history and has a strong heritage of beautiful land and unparalleled golf.

Victoria National is now part of the Dormie Network, a national network of clubs combining the experience of destination golf with the premier hospitality of private membership. Dormie Network membership extends complete access to and full member privileges at every club in the network.
