Pleasant Run Golf Course came into existence in 1922 and was located in an area known as Irvington. In those days, Irvington was a prestigious community and this prestige has carried onward to modern day, as Irvington is a community of much significance. People began to identify Pleasant Run as Irvington Country Club; a title which some old timers still use when referring to the golf course.
