About Cherokee Golf & Country Club:

Our course was opened in 1916 and is northwest Iowa's most challenging nine-hole courses. The natural setting of the course and surrounding landscaping allow the natural plants, wildflowers and beautiful habitat to coexist with lush green fairways. The contour of the course ranges from hilly to flat, giving the golfer a nice variety of play. A creek runs through the middle of three holes and sand guards two greens. The upper level of the clubhouse has a dining area, dance floor and lounge. The lower level contains the golfing lounge and pro shop. A swimming pool is available to members. The 9-hole course features 3,143 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The course rating is 34.6 and it has a slope rating of 123. Tom Bohnenkamp manages the course as the Superintendent. We hope you enjoy playing our course and would love to have you as a member.
