Finally nearing completion after years of delays, the Davis Love III layout just up the road from his St. Simons Island home will open in the spring. The 7,200-yard layout takes advantage of its coastal setting by meandering along forests, marshes, wetlands and ponds. The course is part of the Hampton Island Preserve community, located south of Savannah.
