About Naples Heritage Golf & Country Club:

The golf course was designed by Gordon Lewis and opened in 1997. It plays just over 6,600 yards from the tips but has seven sets of tees to accommodate players of all ages and skill levels. The greens were rebuilt in 2005 with Champions grass, one of the new mircroturf Bermuda grass varieties which reduce grain and create an excellent putting surface. Tee rebuilding and trap maintenance are accomplished yearly as part of a long-term maintenance plan. Since golf membership is bundled with the purchase of real estate there are no initiation fees associated with use of the golf course. Members pay cart fees but no additional greens fees. Walkers are allowed after 4 pm daily. Since cart fees represent a significant portion of the club’s revenue no member-owned golf carts are allowed on the course at any time. Tee times are managed through an electronic system which distributes available times on an equitable basis. The system may be accessed either online or by telephone. Members also enjoy reciprocal golf privileges at more than 50 golf clubs in Southwest Florida from May through October.
