Located in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, just minutes from Orange County’s John Wayne Airport, the Ted Robinson-designed Tijeras Creek Golf Club opened in October 1990. A “tale of two nines” as the distinctive course layout at Tijeras Creek Golf Club opens with a demanding front nine that is highlighted with shimmering water features that come into play on three out of the first nine holes. The back nine holes are legendary for the breathtaking scenery, and awe-inspiring elevation changes that wind through old growth sycamores, oaks and native chaparral. In fact, hole number sixteen was voted as one of Orange County’s Best 18 Holes by members of the Southern California Professional Golfers Association.

PRIVATE EVENTS: The Spanish motif, romantic fountain terrace, and sweeping panoramic views of the golf course make Tijeras Creek the best kept secret in Orange County. Our facility accommodates weddings up to 250 with our indoor/outdoor facility providing a variety of event layouts, including both indoor and outdoor dance floors or seating, accessibility to the bar from both the patio and inside. Our patio features large sun shades, built-in fire pit with seating and Edison string lights that create an amazing ambiance.
