About Deerpath Golf Course:

Deerpath Golf Course in Lake Forest was built in 1927 and was designed by noted golf course architect Alex Pirie. Ken Killian and Dick Nugent redesigned this course in 1971 and again in 1981. It is owned by The City of Lake Forest and features some very unique and challenging holes that utilize the rolling landscape and heavily wooded fairways. Deerpath Golf Course is an 18-hole public course. From the back tees the course measures 6,255 yards with a par 70 and 5,487 yards with a par 72 for women. The course features spectacular mature trees, high quality naturalized areas and beautiful water features including ponds and streams. Deerpath Golf Course is open to the public and we welcome residents and non-residents to utilize the course by becoming a seasonal pass holder or paying daily green and cart fees. Deerpath Golf Course: Course Information Deerpath opens for play in March and closes for the season on or about December 15, weather permitting.
