GlenLakes has been honored with "America's Best 50 Master Planned Community” by Where to Retire magazine every year since 1999. With hundreds of communities in the running from around the country. GlenLakes made the final cut for the tenth year in a row. Seeking out the nation's top neighborhoods, the staff at Where to Retire compared trends in new home construction, amenities, lifestyle services and a plethora of other assets when deciding which communities would make the final list. As always, onsite activities and the stage of the development also played a hand in the final selection.
