Swenson Park Golf Course is owned by the City of Stockton and opened in 1952. This traditional parkland-style golf course was designed by the popular Northern California golf course architect, Jack Fleming. Swenson Park is known for its beautiful Valley Oaks which come into play on most holes, some of which have been determined to be over two hundred years old. Swenson Park is also known as an easy walking course with lakes coming into play on both golf courses. Swenson Park GC offers both an 18-hole par-72 championship golf course, as well as an executive 9-hole par-3 course to meet a variety of skill levels. Swenson Park’s 18-hole golf course features 6,407 yards from the longest tees, while the 9-hole par-3 course plays 1,380 yards from its longest tees and is a great starter course for the beginner while affording the accomplished player an excellent tune up facility.
